Question by alessa_sunderland: Does anyone know how to make the sweet teriyaki sauce like they do at Sakkio's?
I love the chicken teriyaki from Sakkio's Japan in the mall (I live in PA, USA so I don't know if the have this restaurant elsewhere) Does anyone know the recipe for the sauce they use? I have tried looking it up on "Famous Recipes" and elsewhere on the net but can't find it.
Pt_croozin..that is hilarious, the same thing happened to me, I asked and they just smile and nod and say, extra sauce?LOL
I have tried "doctoring up" store bought teriyaki sauce with honey, sugar , sweet rice vinegar, garlic , brown sugar etc. I can't get that same delicious flavor. It is frustrating cause
